dead pixel line on screen
i just recently got my self a calculator from US,it has a dead pixel line. Anyway i can fix it?

Unfortunately, this is a common problem with the TI-83 Plus. Over time, the glue that holds the screen ribbon cable together starts to fail and causes screen artifacts like yours.

Texas Instruments TI-83 Plus Motherboard & Screen Replacement
This is the guide for replacing Motherboard and LCD. in one go. however if you can solder you might be able to find a new display and solder it on.
no matter what, step one, would be opening the device to look for an obvious error like a loose connection.
and if the component is broken. look for an identifying number and find a replacement online.
