AirPods wont connect unless plugged in.

My AirPods Pro earbuds do not connect to my devices unless they are plugged in. They also cannot go into pairing mode, I hold the button on the back of the case for any time period and the light will not turn white. I open the lid and the light is green right away but after about 4-5 seconds of holding the button, the light shuts off then turns green again in a few seconds and doesn't stop doing that. This is a big issue because I recently got a new phone and my AirPods won't connect it.

Please Help.
