BDH2000PL Device stopped working: will not turn on; no charging light.
Device will not turn on. No light when inserted on charging unit. No noises, lights, or any indication of what the problem is. Device was only used for 6 months and currently has a new filter inserted.
Mary Ross, have you taken it apart (enough) to test the internal battery? Some devices refuse to operate (and even accept a charge) if the battery is dead. Here is a link to the manual online (this is directly to the troubleshooting part of the manual).
If you can get access to the battery, use a DMM (digital multimeter) and measure the voltage of the battery. At the same time, measure the output of the charger to make sure it outputs the correct voltage.
