Will a screen replacement fix the sense of touch on my screen?

Hi, so I dropped my phone on a wooden floor a few weeks ago and thinking of sending it to a local repair shop for a screen replacement...

The bottom half of the screen doesn't respond to touch (I can't use the keyboard on the phone), but the top half of the screen does respond to touch. It also doesn't respond to touch on the far right side of the phne screen. There is a small crack in the bottom right corner of the phone screen which is not visible when the phone is on or when holding it away from you.

I was wondering whether just replacing the screen would allow me to regain the sense of touch at the bottom of my phone screen, or will I have to repair the digitizer too?
