just using one inlet hose connected to my machine
I am using just one hose connected to my machine bc I have just cold water if this affect the function of the machine?

Guillermina Ortiz what make and model is your washer? NO, it should not interfere unless you set your water temp to anything but cold. If nothing else, you can always get a Y adapter to connect the one hose to both inlets on your washer. Something like this would work.
