How exactly bezel ring rotation detection works?

I need to know how exactly bezel ring rotation detection works.

I replaced bezel ring and sealing for bezel with brand new parts in my GW4 classic 46mm, but still it doesn't.

When i teared down the watch i couldn't notice any dedicated sensor for this.

I hope that somebody could help me understand how it works.
