5 2003 dodge sprinter... what is this part?
Sorry but there's no dodge sprinter choice. But what is this part???
On a side note trying to get good info for priming the fuel filter in this van. It has the Mercedes diesel engine.

And would this part cause issues running? This van runs fine until noon or so. Then it likes to die...

Ok that is the EGR but that isn't the issue. Turns out the high pressure fuel pump was the issue. Now I've got a new problem. Someone else pulled the old high pressure fuel pump, and when they did apparently they lost the bracket or whatever it is called that held the fuel lines in. The high pressure one is metal and threads on, looks like might be a double flare on it. But on the other side, 2 plastic fuel lines push into two holes. Then a piece gets bolted onto it. But I can't find a part number or even what it is called. I'm trying to fab one to get it by til a new one can be ordered but I can't order a new one without at least knowing the name.
The arrow is pointing where the lines push into it. There's a plastic plug still in one hole in the pic, and the other hole is empty. I don't like working in this stupid thing but I'm trying to help get a coworker mobile again. Any help would be great.
