Do I leave my PS4 like that or try to turn it on once again?

For the past 7 months, my PS4 stopped working like I'll power it on then it'll turn off by itself after a second but earlier I wanted to attempt one last time to turn it on and yes imbecile of me was manipulating the cord multiple times removing and putting slowly or not fully putting it, but surprisingly that time when it turned on I could hear the disc move but it started smelling like smoke so I immediately turned it off as I was scared. Is it worth another try because the PS4 seems to power on or do I leave it like that? (Sorry if it's a dumb question I really want to game again.)

@tech_ni I don't think there's much dust, I have cleaned it some times. Also it still smells smoke at the place where you put the power cable, nowhere else.
