Have you reassembled it correctly? It might spin freely when you spin it with your finger but once it’s screwed together it can be squeezed and tighten up. Also did you clean the base of the fan? The motor and bearing area as dust and dirt can accumulate there too. Some people think just cleaning the fan blades is enough but it’s not.
@strongbow I thought I had gotten to everything. But, it was working fine after I cleaned it. It wasn't until I dropped that it started sounding super loud

So you dropped it after cleaning it? Open it up again as something has either moved or bent out of shape.
