battery phone too cold in summer weather

I have the SM-G991W model. Recently I just got the battery replaced thinking that the battery was bad. But wasn't sure because my phone would say my phone battery is too cold,or my phone is too cold. I would either get slow charging or no charging. The ambient temperature is like 25 - 30 degrees Celsius. Not sure if I have a faulty temperature sensor or something. but if I have a fault somewhere, where would it be located and what part/s would I need to replace.
