Samsung DP728 Smart Door Lock - Can’t change password

The fingerprint sensor cover would normally open when I tried to change the password after pressing the reg button from the inside and pressed the existing password from the outside.

But now, without the lifting of the fingerprint sensor cover, when I press in the new password and then confirm by ‘*’, it lock fails to change password....

I could only restore the lock into factory setting and got stuck with factory password! Feeling very insecure. Please help

Presuming you followed procedures to change password back to factory default and cannot proceed to change it, did you try Samsung tech support?
