Is the screen replacement hard to do on the A12 , front glass only?

Logan Rich front glass only? Not if you have the right tools and plenty of experience. You'd need something like a separator, probably some cutting wires and other miscellaneous hardware. Then you have to clean the AMOLED properly and readhere the glass with the proper adhesive and have it all nicely lined up. So, by the time you have the tools, the cost will be higher than a replacement display assembly. These screens are a PITA to do a glass only repair and getting it done right on the first try is an achievement. I suggest you replace the complete assembly. Not saying it can't be done but a major source of frustration.
Check videos like this to see if you think you could do a complete assembly replacement.

If you want to replace the entire lcd screen, it is not heavy, but if you want to regenerate the lcd and replace the digitizer without knowledge and tools, you will not get it
