LG LFX21960ST display panel dead, dispense light on ice not being made

LG Refrigerator model LFX21960ST. LG display panel dead, dispense light on constantly, ice not being made and unable to dispense anything. This happened once before in 2019, but the problem went away. When you press any button only the dispenser light dims or goes off. Fridge and freezer work perfectly. There is power to the ice machine, but I believe it won’t make ice because control panel/display is offline.

LG won’t even acknowledge this model refrigerator even exists and seems like an environmental and economical waste to purchase a new one, per only suggestion/solution LG will provide.

Have already tried to cut power to the appliance for 5 minutes, but resulted in NO CHANGE.

If anyone can think of something else to try I am willing to do it. If you know what part is needed to correct this issue, I am also willing to investigate that route. And lastly, I am in NYC and if you know someone local that can assist, that would also be greatly appreciated.
