MSI Optix MAG24C Horizontal Lines

Hello!

My display has strobing horizontal lines. This appears even without any inputs connected when the monitor shows the MSI splash screen.

Although, lowering the refresh rate of the monitor down to 60 Hz generally makes it go away. At higher refresh rates, these strobing lines are more apparent, but they DO gradually go away downward. It might take like a half hour for my screen to become clear.

While searching, I’ve seen a lot of similar looking issues for this particular monitor, but with general “try a different cable/graphics card” troubleshooting advice. I’m interested in taking this apart to see what’s wrong, but I was hoping to get some input as to what I should be looking for or if anybody else has had this particular issue.

I’ve attached a picture of what it looks like, my phone’s camera didn’t really like capturing the strobing lines, but this is it.

I’d appreciate any help or insight.
