My LG top loader drum doesnt turn when washing.
I’m not sure but should the drum turn when washing? It does turn when in spin cycle. Also, when the machine is off and empty, does the agitator spin freely by hand as mine does?

I don’t know the model but looking through the service manual for the machine it only mentions that the agitator (aka pulsator in manual) moves.
On p.34 of the manual it only says to remove the hub fixing nut, using a special tool.
On p.58 of the manual there is an exploded view of the tub assembly that may help.
Unfortunately the diagnostics don’t test the pulsator but here’s an image from the manual that shows what to look for if there is problems with it.

The manual can be used online although it is difficult as the page selection numbering is at odds with the actual page number. To download the manual you have to sign up to the website. I’m also not sure if it is the correct one as the cover page doesn’t list you’re model number but it is mentioned by the website so maybe it’s similar enough to be of some use.

I am also facing same problem. The pulsator is working proprly during washing. But the drum not rotate. So, the clothes do not spin. I remember that earlier the drum also rotates opposite direction of the pulsator. But now does not spin along with pulsator. No error code shown. Machine is LG fuzzy logic WFT-8501T top load full automatic 9KG

The manual can be used online although it is difficult as the page selection numbering is at odds with the actual page number. To download the manual you have to sign up to the website.
There is a parts list on p.52 but no index as to what the part numbers are in relation to the parts diagrams.
Also, if a part needs replacing, I couldn't find a parts supplier for your model so you may have to contact LG and ask.

I sincerely appologise for the late reply. The model # WF-T1330TP.
Also, if I want to remove the agitator to check all the gears, which way do I turn the screw in the center of the agitator? Clockwise or Anti-clockwise?
