Why is half of my screen green?
I have purchased a second hand 75” Samsung smart TV. It was in working order when purchased. However on arrival home half of the screen appears to be green when the tv is turned on. How can I fix this?

Tylan Hart 75” is a beast to work on ;-). Since it worked before you moved it, let us assume that this is not (yet) a board or panel failure. I suggest that you remove the back cover and double check (by removing and re-seat) all the LVDS cables. I would specifically focus on the LVDS cables from the main board on to the panel. It is possible that one/some have come slightly loose etc. As was mention earlier in a comment, pictures always help since for now we can only go by your description. Also, what exact model is your TV.

I have just uploaded some photos of the exact model + green screen in my question.
We also did lie the tv down (screen facing upwards) for a 10 minute car ride.. some people have told us that this is what caused it. Thanks for your help ! We’re willing to try anything !
Tylan Hart that should not have mattered. Strange thing so is that this is greater than over half the screen. Odd. How cold is is where you are?
I live in Sydney Australia so it’s relatively warm all year round.
Tylan Hart that is okay then. I was worried about freezing but no way, not for you:-) Let me see what I can find out in the manuals about this type of discoloration.

I have exactly the same issue, same model of TV. But it's the left of my screen that's green. I've re-seated all the cables in the back of the TV no change. So I have purchased a TCON board off eBay - see if it helps. I'll keep you posted.
