Gameboy won't turn on

Hi all, doing my best to repair an old GBC and I’m a bit stumped.

The GBC won’t turn on. No power light, nothing on the LCD, nothing from the speaker, etc.

Here is what I have checked:

• Fresh batteries, verified to be charged with a multimeter
• Good power switch. It has been cleaned several times, and also verified using continuity mode from pin 3 to pin C when in the on position. Resistance measured was minimal
• Both fuse F1 and F2 are also good. With the power switch on I’ve tested continuity all the way from pin C on the power switch to the far end of F2 and it was great.
• Cleaned battery contacts (though they were immaculate to begin with)
• Inspected board for visible corrosion or water damage, again the board looks to be in great shape

Everything looks great, but still I’m getting nothing. I’m new to repair so at this point I’m kinda at a loss for where to go next. Any recommendations?
