My windows tablet goes black and stops working

Guys, I need real help, please. I have a Chinese windows tablet. it was working perfectly, but suddenly it started going black and stopped working. I have to press the power button for 5 sec to shut it down and then I can turn it on again. Then the same thing will happen. I tried to format the drive. reinstall win 8.1 or 10 but the same problem. then, it started happening when I try to set up the windows itself. the CPU is not that hot. I don’t know if it’s due to the battery. Even if it’s fully charged, the same thing will happen. BTW, the battery is about two batteries joined together.

In brief, it’s neither a screen problem neither the OS.
Please help meeee

Hi @ahmedak ,

Does the tablet stop working or is it just that the screens turns off?

Try shining a torch at an angle close to the screen and check if you can see any images at all when the screen turns black. They will be very faint so trying this in a darkened room may help to see them if they're there.

If there are then try swiping the screen or pressing the volume buttons etc to see if the images alter.

If they do then it means that the tablet is still working but that the screen backlights aren't for some reason.

If there are no images seen, does the problem also occur when the charger is connected to the tablet?

I don't think it's about the backlight since that happens even when I connect my tablet to a projector, so I can do nothing since I can see my shared screen.

And yes, it happens even when it's on charging

But I could realize that if I use my tablet immediately after charging, it works for 5 mins then the same problem starts. Otherwise, if I use it after an hour or two after charging. It works for an hour the the problem starts.

Do you mean that the external screen stays on when the tablet screen is off?

If the external screen is still on does operating the buttons on the tablet show anything on the external screen e.g. volume buttons pressed etc?

Also if the external screen does stay on I'm still wondering if it is a battery problem and that the charger can't do two things at once i.e. charge the battery and run the tablet. The external screen will have its own power supply so it is not dependent on the battery in the tablet.

How old is the tablet?

It's an old one

Actually it's a second hand one. The second screen also freezes when the tablet does as well. I'm just trying to explain that it's not about the screen neither the backlight
