A hose connected just below the oil filler cap

1991 F-350 7.5L 460.

This hose connected just below the oil filler disconnected from wherever the other end connects to. The loose hose knocked the drive belt off and leaked motor oil. I went ahead and replaced the drive belt, but I’m embarrassed I can’t figure out where the other end of this hose connects too.

The hose is about 1/2” diameter with a plastic section on the end that and connects just under the oil refill cap on the neck.

Update (10/13/2021)

The hose on the top edge of the oil fill cap. Other pic is the other end of the hose and the connection

Please post a picture of where it connects to, and the hose itself. Trying to see exactly what it is you're talking about to make sure.

@brandon_k banging my head against the wall. Doesn't seem to be connected to anything and I can't find any reference to it in other forums.

@dw9976 answer posted below. From what I've found, I agree with it.

@dw9976 that should be the crankcase breather. It goes to the air cleaner box, under the large throttle air intakes.
