Broken induction hob glass
I have a NEFF induction hob on which the glass cover is broken. The manufacturer’s charges for repair are prohibitive, almost as much as a new hob. Any ideas, I’m a manufacturing engineer?

@fourhelm that seems to be the trend with any of the glass-ceramic cooktops. I am surprised you can still get it. I found that on anything older than around 5 years they stopped making them altogether. Really, the only thing I would suggest at this time, is to either incur the high cost of an original replacement or to scour online, pawnshops, and other places for a donor of the top. Even creating your own would most likely cost you more, but maybe you can modify a top that has the right dimensions.
