The most common cause is a failed power supply. This usually manifest incrementally with the machine restarting on its own and the frequency of the restarts increasing till total failure.

You'll need to give us a bit more!
Was it having problems before it stopped? Do you hear or see the fans running?
Did you inspect the onboard diagnostic LED's what are they telling you?
If this is beyond your skills its time to take your system to an independent Mac repair shop who repairs the older MacPro's.
