LCD flex cable connector damaged
Hello,
I was recently replacing the screen on a 7th generation iPad model A2197. However, the flex cable connecting the LCD to the board broke at the LCD end.
I purchased a new cable, however, the LCD connector was basically melted onto the copper and I had to remove it with a small wire brush which may have damaged the connector beyond repair as it's not functioning, no action on the LCD at all.
Thats what brings me here. Is it possible to solder or repair this? https://imgur.com/gallery/XZkCwzI
Thanks in advance for your response, it's much appreciated.
