Hi,
Is the red standby power LED on or off?
Here’s the service manual for the power board.
This will help you to test that the voltages from the power board are OK or not.
Try the following if the red standby power LED is on:
Disconnect the power from the TV and then remove the back cover from the TV.
Disconnect the cable between the power board and the mainboard at the power board end.
Reconnect the power to the TV.
The TV screen backlights should turn on full intensity and stay on. There will be no picture because the mainboard has been disconnected
If they stay on then because the power board has been turned full on, check the voltages at the connector where the cable from the mainboard was connected to before you disconnected it at the power board (CN802) and check that the voltages as shown in the service manual are OK. If the voltages are all OK then most probably the problem is in the mainboard.
If they don’t turn on or they blink instead then there is a problem with the power board or the LED strips but more likely the power board.
Even though you will be testing for low DC voltages, be safety aware as there is exposed lethal AC voltage on the power board near to where you will be testing. If you don’t know how to test safely when AC power is present then don’t do it!
