(SOLVED) The battery for the regular Pixel. Will it work on the XL?

I answered my own question by trying it: YES, it does work. With less capacity of course but it works. Phone started back, no problem.

Will it work? With reduced capacity of course (2770mAh instead of 3450mAh) or the sizes are too different. They look very similar:
