when i try to put in a game it does not take it in I have try the manual screw and I get it in and it plays it just fine but it just won’t take it in the rollers are fine and then white piece is connected could it be the eject sensor motor that might have die is there a way to test it. and also do you know the diameter of the manual eject screw spring.
This is very common with those. It’s most likely not the motor and sensor board. The circuit board on the optical drive has tiny fuses on it. You need to use a multimeter and test for a blown fuse. You can either replace the fuse or short it out with a drop of solder if you feel lucky. These are labeled starting with an “F” and then a number.
