How Battery ID number works in Coconut battery

In my experience with the customer support of iFixit, I’m very happy. I bought a fix kit for my battery and I unfortunately get two defective batteries.

I get a free replacement today, very happy for the quick shipping, I hope to complete my fix process with success.

I’ve replaced the battery today, and I’ve noticed that Coconut battery is registering always the same Battery ID like the new installed battery had the same id number. I don’t know how this works, anyway I’ve attached a screen to be more clear.

Is this normal, or I need to reset something like NVRAM and SMC?
