How can I fix the trunk button on my versa?

I have a Nissan Versa hatchback and my trunk button is not opening the trunk, I am guessing it’s an electrical issue if anyone know how to fix this please let me know. Also it’s a 2010 model.

I have a similar issue with mine (2017) the trunk would not lock when closed. How ever I doubt the problem is electric on my side.
