My dryer makes a clicking noise when it is done with the cycle.

My dryer makes a clicking noise when it is done with the cycle. It continues to make the noise in the timed dry, air dry and auto sensing cycles on the dial. The noise did stop but was followed by a loud humming noise and then nothing.
