How to replace back lid on Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11S
Back lid on my daughter’s Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11S got badly damaged and I purchased a brand new back lid. It seems that the battery or some other parts are somehow attached to the lid. Usually you just unscrew and open the cover, but it is not the case with this particular Lenovo. I tried to open it but it only opens halfway after I unscrewed all screws (even hidden behind rubber pads). Any help and detailed instructions are highly appreciated.

Thank you guys! Your guides are exactly what I needed. Now I need to consider if I want to disassemble the whole laptop myself (and probably never make to work again) or to find a more experienced technician.

If you take your time you'll be OK.
Also remember to disconnect the battery as soon as you can access it and reconnect it as late as possible in the re-assembly procedure to avoid any electrical problems when working in the laptop.
Also wearing an earthed wrist strap will help prevent any ESD damage. Try not to touch any components on the board that you don't have to anyway.
