1 How to fix vertical white lines on 2017 MacBook screen?
This is what my computer looks like when I start it up. I unplugged it this morning and then opened my screen up to this. The white lines seem to be heavier wherever there is an application open/app icon on the screen. When I shut down my computer the white lines go away and it goes fully black once again. How do I fix this problem?
Did you have a liquid spill or sit the system down on a wet surface at some point?

@danj Not sure but very unlikely. I took it out of my zipped up backpack this morning and then this happened.

Are you able to plug in an external display to see if the internal display or its the GPU that failed?
