Is my MacBook Pro good for Adobe Premiere Pro 14.4?

I use my Macbook to create videos as that is part of my current job, but I use Intel Iris 1536 MB. Is this good enough Graphics to make nice videos?

It depends on your skill level and what you’re doing with your machine. The GPU really doesn’t play as big of a role as the CPU does. After you’ve edited your video, you have to export it, which essentially “bakes” everything together into one smooth video that can be played across lots of devices. Seeing as your particular model had at max a dual core CPU, it may take a while to render the video. I used my 13” 2013 retina pro for video editing and it did pretty well at least for my needs and skill level. If you want to do more, you’ll need more CPU cores. And that’s where a custom built desktop can come into play if you don’t need something mobile.

You should check the Minimum/Recommended System Requirements of each software that you will use as a guide for which mac to buy.
Here are Adobe requirements https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/sys..., and sure, it will be OK for “nice videos”. As for more professional work, I’d choose another device.

This macbook lack of GPU, so things that rely on it might not work or be super slow. At least from my experience.
On the other side, my colleague works without any problems with different software on her PRO.
