iPhone 8 plus not charging, but wireless charging after housing swap

Hi, i did a housing swap for my iPhone 8 plus, and everything seems fine, but i can’t get it to charge with the charger wired, wirelessly it charges fine but when i plug it in it doesn’t charge. when the phone is ran out of battery and i plug it in the battery icon shows its charging, and if the phones off with battery and i plug it in, the apple logo shows but i can’t get it to show as charging without wireless charging when its actually on. can anyone help? thank you!
