My cordless phone displays “fully charged” but when I go to use it it goes dead as soon as I pick it up. Happening in all three handsets regardless of docking station used. Would it be a matter of simply changing the batteries? It’s a kxtgda31e. Thank you

I don't know the phone but just checking that you're not accidentally pressing the "off" button on the phone for a couple of seconds when picking up?
According to the user manual on p.15 this button turns the phone on and off.
Other than that try replacing the batteries in one phone only to check if it works after you have. Make sure that it shows that they are fully charged before testing.
