My 3.5mm jack broke right at the top of the jack

ok so my 3.5mm jack wire broke right where the wire goes into the jack I cut it off and the wires are white with copper around it a blue wire wrapped around string and a red around string as well as a green one.. my question is I have a good jack I cut off my old Recon 70's and only matching wires are the white with copper around it the other wires seem to look like copper as well but with a clear sheathing over them please any help would be appreciated greatly

@blazinghost the colors are not standardized. You will have to use a meter to figure out which wire is tip, ring and sleeve they go to on your Recon. Then you need to know which wire from your headset goes to the same location. Your PX22 uses a TRRS connector and the wires should be

Green - tip;

Red - ring 1;

White - ring 2;

Blue and copper twisted and soldered to - sleeve.
