Why my laptop isn't turning on?
Hello guys.
I have this Toshiba Satellite C850 laptop. I believe this was bought back from 2012 or something. I have been using this for a long time, maybe years. It was in a perfect condition and worked so well too, except some problems with the in-built keyboard and quick battery draining issues. I solved this problem by using an external keyboard and plugged to power whenever I use this PC, so it wouldn't drain out battery.
So, last week. I encountered a problem with my laptop. I had this laptop in my brothers’ room. It had always been there for months. Then, I changed it to my room. Since there wasn't any charge left on my batter from the last session, I decided to plug it down. After charging for a hour or some, I tried turning this laptop on.
For C850, there are three light indicators. 1st one blinks orange light when the laptop is plugged with power (also blinks white light when the battery is fully charged.) 2nd one blinks once in 3 seconds when the laptop is turned on. 3rd one indicates when the hotspot is turned on, but I never used it.
So, my laptop is not turning on. Whenever I press the power button, the 2nd light blinker keeps the white light on and isn't turning the laptop on.
I did try pressing the power button for 30 or 60 seconds, removed the battery and plugged straight to the power and tried turning on. But none of that worked. In fact, I have almost done all the YouTube stuff on this topic, except checking the motherboard or the thing that has chips or little spike things or whatever.
I don't know what to do. I don't possess any advanced knowledge on the hardware side. If anyone had any similar problem or experienced and did solve it, please let me know. Or I'll have to do a repair check by someone.
