Hello,
2 weeks ago my camera was working fine but now when I try to open it directly or through apps like Zoom it is blank. There is only a picture of a crossed camera.

Hi,
Have you tried pressing Fn+F8 (both together or maybe just F8 not sure with your laptop) to see if this turns the camera on, you didn’t say.
Check the status of the camera in Device Manager.
If you have Win 10 installed, right click on the Windows Start button on the left side of the Taskbar and click on the Device Manager link.
When Device Manager opens, scroll down to Imaging Devices to find the camera hardware status.
If there is a red cross next to the camera listing, right click on the listing and select enable. Check if the camera now works OK.
If there is a yellow exclamation mark next to the camera listing, right click on the listing and select Update driver and follow the prompts. You need to be online for the drivers to be updated online. Here’s a link to the latest camera drivers if you want to manually install them.
If there isn’t any crosses or marks next to the camera listing, right click on the listing and click on Properties > General Tab and check the status of the camera in the Device status box.

the problem is the hardware camera it self i have 4 units of this in my company all the same issue camera not working or sometimes it works sometimes it does not. solution buy an external webcam or return for parts replacement. another not so good experience with this unit they keyboard letters and the paint gets errased fairly quickly. the same for all 4 units coincidence? i think not.

I have intermittent problems with internal camera on Lenovo p14s. The problem first started to happen after Windows Updates. Usual measure of reinstalling drivers works *sometimes*. The circumstance most likely to show the problem with Windows not being able to detect the camera is Laptop goes to sleep - and the camera refuses to wake up.
