I didn't touch my ipad for a while but when I used it, a thin white line appeared an inch away from the home button. Can I fix this without replacing the screen?
It's most likely the screen but it could be a connection. I would try checking the pins on the connectors to make sure they aren't bent. Clean the connections with a qtip and alcohol and a soft brush.
