Sim reader wont work

My sim 1 doesnt read but sim 2 does what do you think happened? Do i need to get it replaced? When i pulled out it has a little bit water in it. do i need to replace the sim reader?I hope you can answer me. Thank you so much

You mentioned you found water inside. Did you take the device for a swim or did you purchase it like that?
