Light keeps blinking when switched on

When I turn on my Toshiba smart tv the screen switches on, comes up with toshiba in big writing and then goes to black and the power light flicks between green and red.

I only bought the tv 2 years ago, model is: 55u5863db

having an absolute ballache trying to find toshiba support too.

Is there a pattern to the flashing red and green?

Could be corrupt firmware.

Have you tried this:

Unplug the power cord from the tv.

Wait at least 1 hour (60+ Minutes)

Press and hold the power button (on the set, not the remote) for 60 seconds.

Keep holding power button while plugging back in, and for another 60 seconds after.
