My motherboard dont work, help me pls, I cant afford a new one

i cleaned my cpu vrm with rubber alcohol (70%) and now it dont work, the 24 pins work, but if i connect the 4 pins cpu it shorts and shut off

Why are you cleaning the motherboard and what does it go in?

Did it have corrosion on it?

@aactech the mother board is a gigabyte g41mt-s2 rev 1.3, i clenes the vrm

Since you probably fried you mb I suggest just buy one off ebay, you can get it for $55 shipped

Did you give it enough time to evaporated.

You may of also just fried your board, you might want to test it

yes, i waited 2 days, i tested it but when i connect cpu cable it turn off

What motherboard do you have?

Also, why were you trying to clean it?
