Recently found my old mp3 player, a philips GoGear Mix 4GB and I really hope I can fix it but it doesn’t react when I plug it into my computer and press the reset button. If anyone has any advice on how to start I’d greatly appreciate it.
I had the same problem with mine. After running a couple of tests with the multimeter I found that the control circuit for the battery was dead. After replacing it I also cleaned the pins and made sure they were not short circuiting the board. It now works as it did before the fix was needed. Hope this helps!
