According to the ThinkPad X1 Carbon (Type 20A7, 20A8) documentation, the part number for the CMOS battery is 04X0443.

As far as replacing the battery, Lenovo has bite-sized tutorials that cover every step of the process. As you disassemble the computer, remember to keep all the parts organized so that reassembly will easier!

Splitted videos are painful. And we should find the part number here. So this page is only partly helpful.

Hi @tcoulon

Here's the hardware maintenance manual for the laptop.

Go to p.66-68 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove the coin cell battery from the laptop.

Here's a link to the parts for the laptop. Click on Select Commodity > CMOS battery (1) to find the part number - 04X0443

Search online using the part number only, to get results for suppliers of the part that suit you best.
