Viable Replacement Motherboard for CUH-2215B

I have a CUH-2215B with a SAF-004 motherboard inside of it that seems to be going bad. Since I cannot find a replacement SAF-004 board, could I instead use an SAE-004 without having to swap out any other parts? Thanks in advance!
