I recently got a brand new lightning cable from the company FineLife Audio Products, which on the box said compatible with iPhone and iPad, so I thought it was MFI. When I plug it in, the “accessory not supported on this device” pop up shows and I’m wondering how to fix my problem.

There’s a number of shameless vendors in the market who have no problem in claiming certifications they don’t really have, many of that kind can be found in big marketplaces. It’s quite possible you’ve been cheated and you just own an insecure knockoff cable. Usually price and manufacturer reputation are on their own a good indication of what you’re buying.
