Lock Rotation/Mute switch not working even after flex replacement

Hi, I have an iPad Air LTE Model (A1475). My lock rotation/mute switch does not function, or it is not registered by the machine.

I thought it was the flex, so I replaced it and still the problem persists. Nothing comes to my mind now.

I have also tried a restore/update. Please help.
