Hi,
The Maintenance and Service guide (also found in the link above) details the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedures to remove the fan and heat sink assembly (see p.85-92.)
Once the CPU is visible you can refresh the thermal paste. YouTube has plenty of videos on how to do this
