1 Volume Control on Side Got Wet
My volume control on the side got wet and Apple wanted $156 to replace it. Does anybody know how to fix this? Are their parts available for this repair? All internal volume works (with headphones & bose docking station), just external volume not operable...

is it just the button do you think is the problem, or the external speakers as well?

I do not know... the volume screen does not show when i try to turn it up or down. They Apple genius said it shows water damage on the iPod, but if it did get wet it was minimal. As I stated previously, it works in a Bose docking station and the headphomes work fine...
