When I search for a known contact in my phone I get “Invalid Contact”. It happens when I search for someone to start a text or phone contact

Just export the contacts to a VCF file. Or if u are signed into Google it is automatically backed up to cloud.
Go to
Settings->apps-> contacts -> Clear ALL DATA.
Restart phone. It must start syncing contacts from Google

Actually its not in my phone contacts it's in the texting part.

war is your problem in contact app or in keyboard app
Settings->apps-> show system
apps-> keyboard -> Clear ALL DATA
