Why does it show as scanner and not on printer list?
Trying to help bf. He bought a new laptop and has not been able to print. He has a HP Officejet 6600 and it appears they installed drivers because it shows up on the Printers & Scanners list, but I think it is set up somehow just as a scanner. It does not show on the printer list when trying to send a document to print. I’m not very technical but am a bit more than him. I clicked to see properties but just shows scanner properties and hardware properties but cannot find anything to maybe switch or add as printer. He doesn’t have wireless, using USB cable to laptop. Not sure that’s an issue anyway. Seems that it’s just not set somewhere to also be a printer. ?? Thank you.
