Sony Bravia TV, 60in
Since sometime this morning, the screen has begun to periodically go black. It’s like this…
Turn tv on, screen/sound works, screen goes black while sound continues, green light starts blinking, screen comes back on, repeat.
We tried unplugging, changing display settings, etc etc. Any other advice on how to fix this issue?

Angel Outlaw when the screen goes black shine a flashlight beam at an angle against the screen and see if you can still make out the picture. If so it’s your backlight. If you cannot then it is time to remove the back from your TV and check the boards for any obvious damage. Tehn measure the output from the power board to the main board ( values should be printed on the boards). Also, measure the values on the LED backlight connectors. It could prove helpful if you post some good pictures of your boards and interconnect cables with your question. that way we can see what you see. iFixitでの質問に画像を追加する方法
